2000 Ford Mustangs tire unlock
My 2000 Ford Mustangs tire locked up, is there a way to “unlock” it?—By luckinluv07
Sorry I should have specified. The brake on the front right is “locked up” so the tire won’t move. It’s just that one. I can’t leave it at my office all winter.
My boyfriends front right tire locked up when he got stuck in our mountains of snow we received last night. So it’s sitting outside my office. I’m wondering is there a way we can get it unlocked? Next step will be a tow truck and honestly. We can’t afford that right now. He has insurance but they won’t pay for any of this so if there’s a way we can do it ourselves, even if it’s just temporary we just want to get it home. Any help at all is appreciated, greatly.
Thank you very much!
Also the car is an automatic so it’ll do that little jump forward when it’s in drive but that’s it. It just sits there when you hit the gas. New brakes were in the the future for it…
Awesome answer Seriel… the only problem is the lack of dry pavement. I’m in Iowa, so as you might have seen on the news if you didn’t witness so yourself, we are covered in snow! lol Is there a way I can get under it and get the ice out myself? I’d just need to know where it’s located.

Don’t worry about it. The hot brakes melted some snow when you got stuck and then the water froze on the brakes. Soon as you hit some dry pavement it will break loose instantly. Seen this 10,000 times.
