2008 Acura TL Professional Reviews:
edmunds has reviewed the 2008 Acura TL and given out”Pros: Roomy and well-crafted interior, impressive handling for a relatively large front-drive sedan, sweet V6 engines matched to excellent transmissions, fantastic surround-sound system, lots of standard high-tech features, top crash test scores. Cons: Not as traditionally luxurious as other models in its class, front-wheel-drive handling limitations are apparent when driven hard, lack of low-end torque in some situations.”
carseek has reviewed the 2008 Acura TL and given out”While many people are impressed with the performance of their TL, many more appreciate what Acura puts into the TL for the sake of safety. The Acura TL installs dual-stage dual-threshold airbags for the driver and front passenger, side and curtain airbags, and child-proof door locks. With as much effort Acura puts into building a performance-oriented luxury sedan, there is no reason for them to skimp on safety.”
cnet has reviewed the 2008 Acura TL and given out”The good: With live traffic and an excellent-sounding stereo, the 2008 Acura TL Type-S features some advanced technology. Its engine produces plenty of power while getting good fuel economy and a low emissions rating. The bad: The interface for the cabin electronics is a little haphazard, with limited touch-screen functionality and dual voice-command buttons. The bottom line: The 2008 Acura TL Type-S is very fun to drive, but a number of small issues keep it from being a top performer. To stay on the cutting edge of tech, its cabin electronics need a makeover.”
cargurus has reviewed the 2008 Acura TL and given out”Consumers have continued their acclaim for the TL’s overall comfort and build quality. The interior layout is considered to be very user-friendly and owners have found all build materials to be top quality. The most common complaint among owners and reviewers is the lack of cargo space. There is no split fold in the rear seat, and a narrow trunk hatch makes loading larger items a challenge.”
