2008 Infiniti QX56 Professional Reviews:

edmunds has reviewed the 2008 Infiniti QX56 and given out” Pros: High-tech electronic features, powerful and refined V8, impressive balance of ride and handling, massive towing capacity, roomy second- and third-row seats. Cons: Less maximum cargo capacity than other full-size SUVs.”

MotorTrend has reviewed the 2008 Infiniti QX56 and given out” The QX56 is big, powerful, and relatively easy to maneuver through tight streets, unplowed parking lots, and past hillclimbing slow movers; it’s got enough luxury to make you feel special, while including just about every interior and performance convenience you could want. If you’re looking in this segment, the QX56 has the goods at one of the lowest price points around. There certainly is value here.”

AutoMotiveCenter has reviewed the 2008 Infiniti QX56 and given out” Though the changes to the 2008 Infiniti QX56 are welcome and make the big ute more appealing, the reality is that few Americans want to buy a hulking SUV like this. Infiniti seems to be putting lipstick on its pig until it can build a performance crossover SUV larger than the FX to address the needs and preferences of today’s buyers rather than yesterday’s.”

While you wouldn’t think that full-size SUVs have much of a leg to stand on these days, there are some exceptions to that, and this is one of them.[youtube]RgDow6xOKc0[youtube]

Every QX56 I Have ever seen has a dvd screen in the rear with rca inputs all you need is a power inverter and a place to put it.. (between the seats in the console) no problem at all set the radio to aux and flip down screen hit power and play on. remember the rear power is usualy switched so only works with key on.

I am thinking about buying a new vehicle, the 2008 Infiniti QX56 caught my eye, what is your opinion?

Please do not make comments about it being a gas guzzler or how expensive it is. I know both of those factors and I am still interested. So please give me unbiased opinions based on facts and are knowledgeable. Thank you!

I’m not a big fan of the styling, honestly. It looks like they just took two different vehicles, and sewed they together behind the back doors.

I do really like the FX45, though. Infinity has come a long way.

One other one that really caught my eye, and I’m ashamed to admit it…the Buick Enclave. They are brand new, so right now they are much more rare.

On the QX56, I don’t care about the price, or the fuel useage. What I do car about is how much of a pain in the you-know-where it would be to parallel park (you’ll need a football field), or maneuver in a crowded parking lot, parking spots are so narrow for a vehicle that big (may be very difficult to get in or out if you can’t open your doors far enough.)

Edmunds.com editors only gave it a 7.4/10 which makes me wonder if it’s really that much better than the Nissan Pathfinder Armada, which is the exact same vehicle, except for the face, butt and interior.
