With responsive steering, a composed suspension and a quiet ride, the 2008 Mercury Milan is one of the sportier and more luxurious vehicles in the midsize sedan segment.

edmunds has reviewed the 2008 Mercury Milan and given out ”Pros: Roomy interior, athletic handling, smooth ride, available all-wheel drive, competitive price. Cons: Engines are down on power and refinement, stability control is not available, some mediocre interior plastics.”

Pros: Great looking car. Lincoln Luxury for $10,000 less
Cons: none
We bought a loaded 2008 Premier V6 Front wheel drive and can’t say enough good things about this car! The heated front leather seats are super comfortable. Love the look of the car from the rear especially at night with the bright LED’s. Would definitely consider another one or perhaps upgrade to the MKZ which has more power.

Pros: Very stylish, comfortable and quite elegant for a mid-size car.
Cons: Distracting popping sound in speaker system when applying the brakes
This car would be absolutely awesome, if it were not for the popping sound that can be heard (turn your music down) when applying the brakes. The pop can also be heard when you push in the windshield cleaner button. I am in the midst of working the situation out with Ford, but for it cost to own a vehicle these days, any electrical, or mechanical flaw can ruin the experience.
I have had the vehicle in twice to service this issue and in both situations they have replaced the brake switch. Only to have the poppiing noise disappear for a week or two and then reappear.
For the moment I would still recommend this vehicle as a strong buy. This recommendation could change if a fix doesn’t come soon.
