2008 Pontiac G8 Professional Reviews:
edmunds has reviewed the 2008 Pontiac G8 and given out” Pros: Commendable ride and handling balance, muscle-car mojo with the optional V8, the best Pontiac interior in recent memory. Cons: V8’s overly muffled exhaust note, still a couple chintzy interior details.”
leftlane has reviewed the 2008 Pontiac G8 and given out” The G8 is already sold in Australia as the Holden Commodore, and a few other cars (the Statesman and Ute) share its platform. Holden drivers are used to rear-wheel-drive sedans, so the G8/Commodore is merely the evolution of a good idea.”

Pros: Great looking. A lot of car for the money, Interior is good, NIce sound system.
Cons: No Nav or blue tooth. Seats should be full electric for 30K.
Just bought an 08 GT 6.0. Very fast and still getting respectable MPG. 22avg. today. Curvy Mountain road. Just cruising no fast accerlations. The car handles very nice, just a tade more body role than I would like to see, but tracks smooth with good steering input. Im 6′4, no problems with seating or steering wheel locations. Seats are fairly comfortable, I would have liked full eclectric vs. the knob.. But oh well. The car has awsome acceleration, and driven hard, you can expect lower MPG numbers. But driven casual seems to be getting good numbers. Wife liked it even as a family car, so no Accord for me. Dealer was good, no issues on a test drive. Good deal, $30,180 for the GT. Premium pack, sport pack. Drive it, you will like it!!

Pros: Braking, Corners with ease, 0-60 in 7sec, smooth ride, great looking
Cons: No Satellite Radio, 18 mpg city 25 highway, no navigation, no spoiler
Had the car for about three weeks now and LOVE IT. Could be better on MPG. Averaging 20-22 city and highway combined. It has everything you would want in your BMW 5 series, Audi A6, Dodge Charger, with your GM touch with a price tag that’s not hard to beat. Thank the good Lord I had the GM discount program as they were giving lots of test drives (not sure where they are denying you a test drive), but they don’t deal on these cars. Most are paying MSRP. I was contemplating the V8-GT, but I do mostly city driving and this car is only really equipped to move from 8 to 4 cyl while highway driving with the Fuel Assist. I chose the 6 cyl as it will get the best out of the city driving while still accomplishing better gas mileage on the highway. LOVE THE CAR and I’m glad I made the choice I made. YOU WILL GET TOO AS WELL AS THE GOOD LOOKS WHILE DRIVING THIS RIDE!
