The engine, that big and silent-smooth direct-injection 6.7-liter, 453-horsepower V-12, is identical to the Phantom’s and so is the six-speed ZF autobox.

The Drophead is a four-seat, two-door convertible version of the existing Phantom sedan. And it’s a step out of the normal Rolls box for the British luxe brand, with softer exterior style and more modern lines.
