A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 5-speed automatic transmission is optional.

The Aero is equipped with a standard 2.8-liter, V6, 255-horsepower, turbo engine. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
