Buying Tips:
Recession blues botched your plans for a new Bimmer? As we write this, BMW is extending some sweet financing deals—offering to pay the first two months’ payments in a deal brokered with APR of 0.9 percent. If you want either the 335i sedan or 335i xDrive sedan, BMW will still pick up the first two payments but ups the APR to 2.9 percent.

About BMW

Aeronautics, motorcycles and automobiles are all part of BMW’s long-standing history, which dates back to 1916. In 1986, the Bavarian brand made its debut in Canada as a full-on car maker and no longer as a mere importer. Its network of 38 concessionnaires is well established in the country. Among the lineup are various sedans, coupes, convertibles and wagons from the 1-, 3, 5, 6 and 7 Series. The X3 and X5 SUVs and the sporty Z4 target specific customers, while the ultra-high performance M-Series models (3, 5 and 6) appeal to the most hardcore driving enthusiasts.

After 33k miles, I enjoy the 328i car every single time I get into it – drives beautifully, very comfortable for two, looks good top up or down. The sport seats really change the feel of the car, for the better ( I had a loaner without, and boy what a difference), especially if you have long legs. The sport seats also allowed us to drive back-to-back 17+hours a day in comfort. The only unscheduled service was to get a tire pressure sensor reset during an extreme cold snap – zero problems otherwise. Just changing out the original Bridgestone tires, wore out the rear before the front. With the 6-speed manual, not great quickness from stop, but the engine brings up power quickly, and pulls forever after that – easy and secure to keep speed through corners and curves; very stable at speed, very manageable wind buffeting even approaching triple digit speeds. Pricy, but there’s nothing else that offers quite this package, especially with the 4-year dealer maintenance package. Managed OK even in the couple of snow accumulations we had. A car I could easily see myself in for a long long time.

My third BMW 335i – 2nd convertible. AWESOME is one word to sum up the entire vehicle. Vehicle is FAST, corners in a manner that will shock people who never did high speed cornering in a bimmer, and is definitely a looker! The new hard-top convertible is inspiring.

the 328i is good car that runs well and without problems so far. Been only a year and a half. Lived through one winter in Michigan. Drove it around Europe. Although a rear wheel drive, handles snow better than many front wheel drives. Packs a lot of power but does not consume as much gas
