  • auto123—The Mitsubishi Eclipse pleases in many ways, but disappoints in others. It’s a mighty good looking car, it offers a high level of performance and the Spyder allows top-down motoring at a decent price. Yet it seems as though the car has matured too much to be overtly sporty and please a younger crowd. If the company is open to suggestions, how about putting the car on a diet and bringing back the spirit of the first-generation Eclipse using the Lancer platform and with the 237-hp turbo engine from the Lancer Ralliart? That would fit better with its character, something Mitsubishi should leave alone.
  • thecarconnection—STYLING :The 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse draws good reviews on styling, as well as look and feel, as it cruises past on any back road or the highway;PERFORMANCE:Reviewers agree that the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse offers a throaty, sexy-sounding engine with plenty of power, but handling isn’t always up to the job;QUALITY:Reviewers agree that the 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse has an intimate cabin, with just enough space in front, but beware the tight space in back;SAFETY:The 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse offers decent protection, but lacks some features expected in a sporty coupe;FEATURES:The 2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse offers a good set of features but lacks a few that sporty coupe buyers will probably want.

Overall, I am in love with this GS car! =) My parents purchased it for me as a graduation gift. I love the look of the car and the comfort when am driving. I noticed many reviews complaining about the blinds spots; however, I haven’t had any problems with that.. I also love the height of the car..perfect view of the road! The sound system is awesome..and the sunroof.. the car is great on gas..
However, the downside is the backseat. I primary use my car so I can move around..but there are times I have had my friends or nieces in the car and they do NOT love the space back there for their legs..yet they somehow manage to get comfortable.
Like I have mentioned before..this car is overall a great car. I would not recommend it for a family..mainly for 1 or 2 people..

As soon as I saw this GT car I had to have one. It is an amazing ride it’s smooth and take corners nicely. The inside is comfortable and I love the sun roof it doesn’t mess up my hair! The Rockford system is awesome and sounds great. I just bought it a few days ago and I really don’t have any complaints yet. The blind spots aren’t really a problem for me so much as they are for my boyfriend when he drives. Just use your mirrors and check your blind spots like your supposed to.

I love driving my Eclipse! I feel “cool” when sporting around in my eclipse. There’s not much room in the back seat especially if you actually have legs. It’s kinda hard to see anything behind you that doesn’t show itself in the rearview mirrors.
