  • newcartestdrive—The Mitsubishi Galant represents a viable alternative among midsize sedans. It does everything you would reasonably expect of it, rides well, is roomy and comfortable, and is enjoyable to drive. It’s also very price-competitive and offers a wide array of features, both standard and optional, that make it a solid value for the money.
  • edmunds—With its roomy cabin, enjoyable driving demeanor and impressive crash test scores, the 2009 Mitsubishi Galant is a family sedan with spirit and style. However, when compared to its more illustrious chief rivals, the Galant fades into the background as it’s lacking in practicality, build quality and a few key features.Pros:Ideal balance between ride quality and handling, strong V6 in Ralliart trim, comfortable cabin, superb Rockford Fosgate sound system.Cons:Stability control and manual transmission aren’t available, interior materials feel cheap for this class, insufficient cabin storage, rear seat doesn’t fold, Ralliart requires premium fuel.
  • Thecarconnection—STYLING:The 2009 Mitsubishi Galant has been passed by other family sedans that have sharper, cleaner styling;PERFORMANCE:For everyday driving, the four-cylinder 2009 Mitsubishi Galant will do; if you’re looking for a fun, sporty drive, upgrade to the Ralliart’s V-6;QUALITY:The 2009 Mitsubishi Galant is spacious and generally quite comfortable, but the limited cargo space and quality of materials are disappointing;SAFETY:The 2009 Mitsubishi Galant is a safe, secure sedan that lacks a few important features;FEATURES:The 2009 Mitsubishi Galant offers a variety of features, but only the awesome Rockford Fosgate sound system is remarkable in its class.

Everything in Mitsubishi Galant ES is good, and comfortable. My last Mitsubishi was lasting for 12 years, and without any single problem. I have my glant for 4 months, and runs great. Feel solid when I drive on the road. No problem at all. At least, everything is much better than American automobiles…… they are just piece of junk….read more

I am very pleased with this Sport V6 car. The MPG is closer to the low estimates in the city, but I am exceeding the estimates on the highway. The outside of the car looks great, but the interior (dash and doors) could use a little work. There isn’t as much space as I’d like in the driver’s seat, but it’s not uncomfortable.

The 6 month subscription to satellite radio that comes with the new purchase was a pleasant surprise. I thought I’d never use it, but I find myself listening to it more than my MP3 player in the car.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews that say the ride is “rough” but compared to my 2001 Focus, it feels like I am floating on air. It is possible that it does not compare favorably against other cars in its class, but it does not seem unreasonably rough to me. I would highly recommend this car for anyone that is looking for a lot of features but doesnt’ have a large budget.

the Ralliart is fun family car, fast, good hwy millage, very bad city millage, bad blind spots, doesn’t have much steering turn, nice appearance, nice interiors, good sound system, overall I’m happy with it,
