Index of 2010 Acura TSX Expert Reviews
- thecarconnection—STYLING:The 2010 Acura TSX is attractive inside and out, though like any entry-luxury sedan, it does have its low points;PERFORMANCE :The 2010 Acura TSX’s V-6 adds some much-needed punch, and the car handles well for a front-wheel-drive car, but the imprecise steering is still an issue;QUALITY :The 2010 Acura TSX is well-built with quality materials, but could still use some work on cabin noise;SAFETY:Five-star and Top Safety Pick crash ratings mean you can drive with confidence in your family’s safety, but a standard backup camera would be a nice addition;FEATURES:Despite the extensive standard feature set, the Technology Package is well worth the price, especially in light of the excellent upgraded audio system.
- New Car Test Drive—”The 2010 Acura TSX delivers the marque’s hallmark traits of smooth mechanicals, feature-rich cabin and distinctive style. It’s very good at what it is, a stylish, efficient, premium compact sedan with a sporty tilt, but it isn’t a true sports sedan. If your passengers aren’t too tall, the TSX is a comfortable and efficient commuter car.”
- CarGurus—”Acura’s entry-level 2010 TSX luxury sedan offers a good combination of features for owners who seek an upscale commuter for around-town driving. The high-tech, luxury-oriented cabin draws the most positive comments from owners, and many like the fuel economy of the standard four-cylinder powerplant, but by offering a new V6 engine as an option for 2010, Acura aims to head off many of the complaints voiced in previous years about the TSX’s lack of sport-oriented performance. Despite a few drawbacks, the TSX presents a good value for owners seeking an affordable luxury sedan.”
- cars.About.com—”The new TSX’s style is more modern and aggressive, and the interior is roomier, more comfortable and quieter. The navigation and sound system included with the technology package is quite superb, even with its $3,100 price tag — but without the technology package, the TSX loses a lot of its appeal. This is a car that is good at almost everything, yet great at nothing, and because of that I’m left with that empty feeling I talked about — an empty feeling of what could have been, or perhaps what should have been. “

Buying Tips:
Hold on…for a while. A torquey and fuel-efficient 2.2-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine is bound for the TSX as possibly a late 2010 model. The engine will meet the 50-state emissions standard, Honda says, and should have fuel economy in the 40s.
