Index of 2010 Chevrolet Traverse Expert Reviews

  • thecarconnection—STYLING:The 2010 Chevrolet Traverse’s strong suit is its practicality, not its style;PERFORMANCE:The 2010 Chevrolet Traverse won’t deliver the acceleration to satisfy go-fast types, but then again, this isn’t the type of vehicle they are likely to buy;QUALITY:With ample space for up to eight people and most of their gear, comfortable seats, and compliant ride quality, it’s hard to complain about the 2010 Chevrolet Traverse;SAFETY:The 2010 Chevrolet Traverse is one of the safest vehicles in its class, with its large, sturdy structure garnering great crash-test ratings;FEATURES:A new USB port and the latest OnStar 8.2 service head up a long list of useful features found on the 2010 Chevrolet Traverse.
  • Cars.com—”For 2009, Chevrolet got its own version of GM’s popular three-row crossover. It’s called the Traverse, and it offers distinctive styling and a purportedly sportier driving experience than its GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave siblings. Competitors include the Toyota Highlander, Mazda CX-9 and Hyundai Veracruz. “
  • AOL Autos—”The Chevrolet Traverse crossover utility vehicle combines the smooth ride and responsive handling of a car with the cargo capability and high seating position of a traditional truck-based sport utility vehicle.”
  • CarGurus—”Owners of the 2009 Chevy Traverse mention a haphazard control layout and uncomfortable headrests as problematic, but praise its comfortable ride, decent acceleration, and spiffy styling. Tepid gas mileage and cramped legroom are also issues for some owners, but such individual features as the Traverse’s OnStar system, premium speakers, blind-spot-eliminating mirrors, available heated seats, and the relaxing second-row captain’s chairs draw accolades.”

Buying Tips:
Even if you like the 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, you should cross-shop the GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave. They’re nearly identical, so it depends on whether a particular dealership is willing to haggle.
