- edmunds—The 2010 Ford Edge is a solid entry in the midsize crossover SUV category, but it wouldn’t be our first choice.Pros:Quiet and roomy cabin, comfortable ride, Sync system, lots of standard safety equipment, strong crash test scores;Cons:Mediocre braking distances, unresponsive transmission, antiquated stereo/climate controls, some cheap interior bits.

I loved the Edge Limited FWD on first site. It is not the greatest on gas mileage, but I knew that going in. I also test dove the Lincoln Suv prior to my purchase it was a close second. I have constant issues with my voice command system on the phone and navigation prompts. I am not a fan of the blindspot mirrors, it is a distraction for me.

Am quite pleased with new Edge SEL AWD. Was considering the Lincoln MKX, but couldn’t justify price difference when comparing vehicles side by side at dealership. Both ride the same, and with the right options are very similiar in necessary conveniences. The Edge handles well, rides nice/quiet. Sound system is more than adequate. Love the oversized sun roof. Style wise, very contemporary looking with clean lines and minimal chrome. Fit/finish inside and out flawless…Bravo to Ford!

I absolutely love my Ford Edge SEL AWD. I have had it for over a year now and it is still my all time favorite car. I had a SUV Lexas, two jeep cherokees, a vet, etc. My financee totally loves it too.
I have people come up to me everywhere I go and ask me about it. I let them know that I would not trade it for any other vehicle. If ford keeps it going, I will surely buy another one in a few years!
