Index of 2010 Honda CR-V Expert Reviews

  • thecarconnection—STYLING:The exterior styling of the 2010 Honda CR-V will be off-putting for some shoppers, but the interior is more likeable;PERFORMANCE:Don’t expect much excitement out of the driving experience; the 2010 Honda CR-V performs quite well—if a bit sluggishly;QUALITY :Keeping the price down was clearly a motivator in designing the 2010 Honda CR-V’s interior, but next to all but luxury vehicles it probably won’t disappoint;SAFETY:The 2010 Honda CR-V is a safety superstar, with top crash-test results and all the accident-avoidance features you’d expect in this price class;FEATURES:There’s nothing particularly noteworthy here. But Bluetooth is missing, and you’ll have to step up to the expensive 2010 Honda CR-V EX-L to get a nav system.
  • Edmunds—”The 2010 Honda CR-V remains one of our favorite compact crossover SUVs. More power this year should help with its traditionally sluggish performance; however, the absence of an optional engine upgrade continues to be an Achilles heel.”

Buying Tips:
If you have your mind set on a Honda product but feel that the CR-V is just a little too plain and homely, you should check out the Acura RDX, which gets more exciting styling and a turbocharged engine, for just slightly more than a loaded CR-V.

    Pros
Power seats with lumbar support, visability and car like driving
    Cons
Better Miles Per Gallon is needed and a bit more sound proofing

    Purchased As New

Waited for this refresh 2010 and glad I did.

Drives like a sedan but with better visability. Had a new Honda Insight, but got tired of the rear seating issues, not to mention the rear split glass that one has difficulty in seeing out. Took a lose for this CR-V.

This CR-V is a keeper but sure wish the next model full make over will give better gas mileage ( Sure it will-No brainer ) and a bit better sound insulation.

    Pros
Handling, size, economy for a 4WD wagon
    Cons
Wind noise, uncomfortable seat belts, lacks center console for storage

    Purchased As New

I traded a 2005 Toyota Highlander for the 2009 CR-V, looking for a car that required less parking space and was easier to maneuver. I got that, but I still have the wind noise that was a problem in the Highlander. The front center console is a shelf that can fold down, which means that anything you put on it falls off or has to be removed and put elsewhere (but where??) if you lower the shelf to make a path/space between the two front seats. Front seat belts cut into the neck of a short person (that would be me). I would probably not buy another CR-V unless it was redesigned to eliminate some of my beefs.
