Index of 2010 Jeep Compass Expert Reviews
- thecarconnection—STYLING:Despite its Jeep-like face, the Compass deviates from Jeep’s traditionally rugged styling;PERFORMANCE :The 2010 Jeep Compass suffers from subpar powertrains, but it compensates with decent road manners and impressive fuel economy;QUALITY :Cheap interior materials and lackluster cargo space make the 2010 Jeep Compass tough to love, but it does offer reasonably comfortable passenger space;SAFETY:The 2010 Jeep Compass has good standard safety features and decent crash-test ratings, but poor driver visibility;FEATURES:The 2010 Jeep Compass has a good—but not great—set of standard features, though its options list is vast.
- Edmunds—”Despite its low price and unique flip-down tailgate speakers, the 2010 Jeep Compass ranks as one of the least attractive choices in the compact-SUV segment. Pros:Low price, available flip-down tailgate speakers. Cons: Low-rent interior, uncomfortable ride, unimpressive acceleration, noisy cabin, lacks typical Jeep off-road abilities.”
- CarGurus—”It’s not that the 2010 Jeep Compass is a worthless vehicle, it’s just redundant. With so little to differentiate it from the Patriot or the Caliber, the Compass’ inadequacies – inefficient, underpowered engines and a middle-of-the-road approach – are only magnified. There are certainly better midsize crossover options out there.”
