  • Edmunds.com—”The 2010 Land Rover LR2 impresses us with its off-road capabilities, but falls short of other luxury crossovers in terms of performance, handling, cargo space and cabin quality. Pros: Excellent off-road capabilities for a car-based SUV, comfortable ride, roomy cabin. Cons:Mediocre performance for a luxury-brand SUV, modest handling on pavement, mundane interior design, some subpar interior materials, below-average cargo capacity.”
  • CarSeek—”Especially considering its attractive initial price point, the 2010 Land Rover LR2 is creating a lot of anxiety for the Cadillac SRX, Infiniti EX35, and the Lincoln MKX. Frontal occupants will be treated to 40 inches of headroom, 58 inches of shoulder room and 41.9 inches of legroom. Rear occupants are also spaciously accommodated. The 26.7 cubic feet of luggage capacity in the rear can be expanded to 58.9 cubic feet by folding down the rear seating.”

Buying Tips:
If you’re shopping for off-road ability, try the Audi Q5 and Benz GLK first. Both come close to the 2010 LR2 for trail riding, and you may prefer the Audi’s interior or the Mercedes’ light, swift steering.
