2010 Nissan Frontier Reviews and Buying Tips
The 2010 Nissan Frontier clearly isn’t as large or capable as full-size trucks, but it offers enough toughness for personal use along with an especially good feature list.
The Frontier is offered in four trim levels: the base XE, the well equipped SE, the luxurious LE and the PRO-4X off-road model. Available engines include a 152-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder, mated to either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission, and a 261-hp 4.0-liter V6, paired with either a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, dual front, front side-impact and overhead curtain airbags, active anti-whiplash front head restraints and a tire pressure monitor. New for 2010, SE V6, LE and PRO-4X trim levels are outfitted with Nissan?s Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) electronic stability control system, including integrated traction control.
