However, that should keep the Pathfinder looking less out of style a few years from now;PERFORMANCE :The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder is a vehicle of compromise, with powerful, torquey engines that are great for off-roading and towing but bring terrible for fuel economy;QUALITY
assengers and cargo will find ample room in the 2010 Pathfinder, though the cabin won’t provide enough refinement for everyone;SAFETY:Strong crash-test results and lots of standard safety features give the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder great safety credentials;FEATURES:The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder has plenty of features—especially if you’re willing to tack on an expensive options package.
- Edmunds—”The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder can tame the wilderness with its off-road skill, but it’s not as adept in the concrete jungle. Consumers just wanting a comfortable seven-passenger midsize SUV will be better served by a large crossover.Pros:Plenty of power from V6 and V8 engines, attractive cabin with good ergonomics, generous storage room, strong towing ability.Cons:Guzzles gas, cramped second- and third-row seats, less cargo space than large crossovers, feels truckish to drive.”
- CarGurus—”The Good:The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder serves as a solid example of a traditional truck-based SUV, with plenty of power, comfort, and cargo room to go around. The Bad:The fuel economy of the 2010 Pathfinder is terrible, even for a full-size SUV.”

Buying Tips:
If you’re considering the V-8 model of the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder, you might be able to step up to the Nissan Armada for a little bit extra. Also, check out the 2009 model Pathfinder if you’re looking for savings, as little has changed between that model and the newer 2010 Pathfinder.
