I need help with a 99 Lincoln Continental power seat?—by JoeyD
The other day I was riding in the passenger seat of my 99 lincoln continental and I put the power seat back (reclined). When I wanted to put the seat back up it would not go. The front, back, up, down control works still, and the lumbar works too. The seat would recline back further but it would not return to the upright position. Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be, I don’t want ride around with the seat reclined all the way back.
THANKS

sounds like the switch. very common for them to go bad. you should test it though. find the connector to the tilt motor. check for power when you hit the switch. if you have power the motor is bad. if no power then the switch.
