Richmond Hill, ON : Canadian Black Book (CBB) recently presented Mazda Canada with a “Best Retained Value” award for the Mazda3. The award determines 10 winners, in no particular order, and is based on data gathered from four-year-old vehicles, in this case 2005 models. All passenger cars and light-trucks under $70,000 are eligible with the 10 winners determined by their ability to retain value from their original MSRP. For 2009 the Mazda3 is one of those 10 winners.

“The great thing about this award is that it is not based on based on future value” said Larry Shred, executive vice president of CBB. “Consumer confidence in the model is strengthened based on actual performance as the awards measure actual value retained by the vehicle”.

Worldwide, there have been over 2 million Mazda3’s built and since its introduction the Mazda3 has earned more than 90 automobile awards around the globe including the highly coveted 2004 Canadian Car of the Year. The second generation 2010 Mazda3 continues to define fun-to-drive vehicle dynamics with style, functionality, safety and economy.
