A service and an oil change are different things. An oil change will be around $100 at the dealer. That car takes 8 quarts of oil plus a $10 filter cartridge. You’re looking at $60 in parts plus labor. Or you can DIY.

MB dealers have service intervals called A service, B service, C service, etc. They include inspections, tire rotations, filter changes, etc. You can easily spend $300-500 or more here.

If your ML is out of warranty, I’d take it to an independent Benz repair shop. They can do the same work as the dealer for less money.
