Why does it seem no one knows how to get a learner’s permit?—lalala
It seems no one on this website knows what age you have to be or what you have to bring.Where I live, everyone knows you have to be 16 to get a permit and counts down to it and usually goes right around their 16th birthday. They get the book ahead of time to study and know what documents to bring, or else they ask their friends who have already taken the test what they need to bring.Why are the people on YA so incapable of taking care of things like this themselves?

It’s a generational thing. When I was a teen, many years ago, we ALL knew precisely the second when we became eligible get our license. We also knew the answers to every question on the test because we ALL studied the driver manual religiously for months before the “big” day. Driving was a huge milestone in our lives
Many kids today seem to be too lazy to do much for themselves. They think that everything should be given to them. They find it easier to just ask someone else to do the work.

15 is usually when you can get the permit, depend on the state. you will need proof youve taken drivers ed, and some form of id. also call the dmv and they will tell you.
