How To Make My Truck Louder?—By Shiprek
I Own a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado and I Have A Y. Pipe With cat but no muffler. I am wondering if and how i can make my tuck louder? Any Suggestions?
I Live In Tennessee and our School Cop says my trucks not enough to get a ticket. Im 17 junior.

it all depends on what kind of sound you want, do you want really loud but quiet idle, really agressive idle but weaker on the higher end of the rpms. for just loudness a straight through design is best such as glasspacks, race bullets(dynomax), or try chambered mufflers for all around loudness and agressiveness, i.e. one chamber flowmasters etc. try going on youtube and look for people who have the same truck and setup and listen for what sounds the best

    You need to get a ticket for defective vehicle. You do not need to make it louder, that’s just dumb.
