keep the same driver license number

Do you always keep the same driver license number?—By moe b
just wondering..do they change you number any time?

well i think that each state is different. my state has changed my number four times. first one 16 years old second my commercial chauffer. third cdl. forth when i gave up cdl and went to car only. but after you turn 65 it’s free yeah.

    In NJ, when I got rid of my truck for my car, I had to get new plates. All truck plates have an X in them.
    Then when I moved to Oregon, I had to gert new plates for that car. It will be interesting to see if those plates make it to another vehicle.

    Oh, I thought you were talking about plates…
    Differnt states have differnt numbering systems. In NJ, the first “number” is the first letter of your last name. Smith=S Anderson=A. And in NJ, it’s really long.
    Oreogn, is just numbers and it’s super short.
