What is the best engine to swap into a Buick Regal Sedan?—Andrew
Preferably something I can scrap out of a junkyard. I have a 3.8 V6 2bbl in it with a spun cam bearing. I need a new engine and would like a little more horsepower. Any advice?

HAHA a vette engine, seriously? If you dont have a few thousand laying around for a LS4 vette engine just Find a carbureted 305 chevy. Quite Reliable, and just enough power to get the job done without breaking the bank. It will drop right in your regal im pretty sure and any 1980’s monte carlo in a junkyard probably will have a 305. They are pretty popular and parts for a 305 are cheap. And i also was just thinkin, a 350 will fit in there to, they r really popular motors and a regal has the same motor mounts as a monte carlo with a 350 so it would bolt in there to. Just depends on what your local boneyard gots layin around and how much they want for it. Overall a 305 chevy would be best in my opinion.
