What fun!!! the Grand Touring Power Retractable Hardtop is an amazing little nippy car, fun and quite frugal too. Though a real easy car to drive I would say that this car suits an experienced driver more than a new driver as you do have to drive carefully to avoid accidents. You will get ‘cut up’ as people won’t always see you, so don’t sit in blindspots and remember you brake faster than almost everyone so check behind you if slowing down.
With at rev happy nature of the car you’ll think your going much faster than you really are, but the balance then allows corners to be taken much faster that you thought.
Can be a tight cockpit, I’m 6′2″ and 200lbs and could use an extra 1″ of head and legroom for true comfort – though aftermarket seats will solve this dilemma

I fine the Grand Touring fun to drive. Handles real well. I been getting 29 to 30 miles per gallion. has lot.s of power. I had no problums in 2 years Ive own mine. On ruff roads I do have lots of tire noise but my tires need replacing now after 32,000 miles. Car dose ride ruff but so dose the Honda 2000 and the BMW roaster as well. Had lot’s of compluments on how nice the car is. Good car for the money.

This Grand Touring is my second Miata, and I can’t say enough good things about it. Easy to drive; handling and gear box are great. Nothing has ever gone wrong with it. Can’t recommend enough if you’re looking for a sportster. You may think that a Solstice or Sky is in the same class. Think again. Not even close. Sure the GM cars may be a little more of a head turner, but that’s all it’s got.
