Im looking into buying my 1st car. I currently have a Mitsubishi Eclipse 1996, I love it a lot but its starting to wear out on me. I’ve been looking at the Mazda 3 2010 and the Mitsubishi Lancer (Im not sure if they have a 2010 out yet…) and I cant decided which one! The base models are around the same price and that’s what Im looking for. A compact sedan with a standard transmission.Which one would you suggest??

I had a Lancer, the thing is a piece of trash.
I don’t like Mazda much either, but between those i’d go for the Mazda.
