Nissan Maxima or Toyota Celica
Should I buy an 04 Nissan Maxima or an 03 Toyota Celica?—By Brian
I’m 18 years-old and I have a choice on purchasing 1 of these cars. I have to pay for the insurance and gas on it (and $100 a month to my parents for the loan). Anyway, I only work part time at my job(I make about $500 a month) and I am indecisive about which car would be better for me. I like to hang out with friends and do all that so keep that in mind. Ill give you the mileage each car has:
04 Nissan Maxima: 89,000 miles; BUT, the vehicle has a very clean interior and exterior(no dents or scratches, and it has a sound system and T.v.
03 Celica: 74,000 miles; has clean interior and exterior. Nothing special except that its sporty and gets better gas mileage than the Maxima.
Which do you think is better for me? I want a nice car, but at the same time, I dont want every dime I make going into the car. Help!

Then get the Celica. Better fuel economy. Have you seen the price of gas today? Sure it’s down a bit, but one idiot on the other side of the planet can ruin that for us all with the wrong words or a threat. The sound system & TV would be a huge distraction in the Nissan. Plus since it does nothing to make the car get better economy, it’s a waste of material. Keep in mind that you can easily loose your job for any reason. Best to have a car for now with the lowest cost of ownership.
