95 Jeep Cherokee Country.I unlocked my doors w/Keyless Entry(aftermarket), and now radio/interior lights?—by Sara L

Radio and interior lights will not work now!! I have checked ever single fuse and replaced them all. I do not know what to do now! Please help and let me know what to check next! Thanks ALOT!!!

Pull both battery cables. Next check the relays,(black plastic boxes in engine compartment) not the fuses.
Find the relays that refer to int. lights and radio. they are probably solid black or yellow. If they have burned contact pins or smell like ozone you found the problem.The keyless might be hooked up to a relay marked AUX. if the slot is empty ignore it.

The keyless might have fried, they don’t tend to be real durable due too all the cutting and splicing on SOME of them.
Check all the connections! vibration can cause separations resulting in loss of voltage to the components connected to it.
It’s entirely possible that the constant hot wire to the radio is now connected to the module,the lead to the coutesy llights as well. Open the rear hatch, see if the aux. light on the side panel (if installed) works, i think it is on a stand alone power lead.
