It depends on many factors the most important of which is the model year. The first 528i in the United States was in 1979 to 1981 and that car is now almost 30 years old and would not be worth any where near $6,000.
The model produced between 1996 to 2000 might be worth that much if the car were really clean and had not been in an accident. The 2000 is worth a lot more than a 1996.
The car was introduced again in 2008 and obviously that car is worth far more than $6,000.

You did not list a year here. This could come in very handy to know if the car was used by a Terrorist eating a Gyro (anyone can be a terrorist, did anyone ever ask how the government determines this?) to blow something up and then pieced back together with German superglue. If tax was not paid on the Superglue and it wasnt cleared by Customs, this could be a Hot BMW and only worth the price of the components that make up the car and open for negotiation at auction.
Please tell us the year and we will examine your car better.

Yes, that is a great price. Compared to other used BMW prices yours fits accordingly with the miles.

I have a nice 528i 1979, Seattle washington USA. sold in US as 1980.
This car runs very good and has very straight gold colour body, even some panels still original paint, standard 5 speed trans, new glass. 120k miles. All original.
Power windows , locks, sunroof, mirrors.
very nice.. how much does this worth?
