Nice Funny Videos,Honesty pays.I often won’t write people if they are 100% honest with me. Seldom happens, but when it does I’m impressed with them and usually cut them a break.

It worked when my parents were in the US and told the cop they were British (they are) and didn’t know (they didn’t). I think generally admiting you did wrong, apologise, say it is a first time and you will be a better driver next time.
In the UK you can get template letters to send appealing against the ticket requiring the porduction of valid camera calibration certificates and so on, I think there is a website that guarantees to get you off…

I am not sure about speeding, but I have a funny story about getting pulled over… I was driving home and knew that I had a break light out when a cop pulled out behind me. I was doing really good not to hit my breaks until we started going down a little hill just as we entered a small town with a speed limit of 30. Of course I had to hit my breaks and he immediately pulled me over. When he asked me if I knew why he pulled me over I told him that yes I knew that I had a break light out and knew that I was going to be pulled over either for that or for speeding if I did not slow down, so I figured I may as well just get it over with and hit the breaks. It doesn’t sound that funny as I am writing it, but at the time, I thought it was!
