Toyota expands popular mid-size sedan line with the 2010 Toyota Camry XLE

(TORONTO) – As one of North America’s most popular passenger cars, the Toyota Camry offers even more for Canadian drivers, with the new 2010 Toyota Camry XLE. This new model features all of the dynamic styling and “no compromise” suite of standard equipment found a V6, but delivers it in a a new 2.5 litre four-cylinder engine and six-speed automatic transmission that delivers Toyota’s “more power – less fuel” advantage.

“Four-cylinder models are the most popular Camry option in Canada, combining ample performance with the fuel friendliness that Canadian drivers demand,” noted Warren Orton, Director at Toyota Canada Inc. “We upgraded the engine and transmission in our four-cylinder Camry models for the 2010 model year to deliver more horsepower and even more impressive fuel efficiency. This new 2010 Camry XLE edition also features a revised front grille, bumper, new wheel design, front headlamps and the safety of LED tail-lamps and standard Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control – its efficency, performance and fuel-efficiency all-in-one package.”

Other equipment added for 2010 includes:

The 2010 Toyota Camry is available in seven models, all featuring dynamic styling, impressive performance and handling, Toyota’s sterling reputationfor quality and safety, and a generous suite of standard equipment.

The 2010 Toyota Camry is now on sale at Toyota dealers across Canada. The four-cylinder Camrys carry the following manufacturer’s suggested retail prices: Camry LE starting at $24,900; Camry SE starting at $26,205; Camry XLE starting at $30,925.

Suggested prices for the V6 engine-equipped Camrys are as follows: Camry LE V6 starting at $28,345; Camry SE V6 starting at $31,555; Camry XLE V6 starting at $36,040.
