2004 mazda6 or 2002 nissan maxima? —By xxoscarxx
I am shopping for a car. Right now I have narrowed my search to two cars that caught my attention a lot.

2004 Mazda Mazda6 i

  • 105k miles
  • Manual Transmission
  • Priced at 7500

2002 Nissan Maxima Se

  • 109K miles
  • Manual Transmission
  • Priced at 6900

I looked at atleast 10 cars and these two I liked the most. I can’t decide which of the two to get. From these two which is the most reliable? Which will give me best fuel economy? Which would I have to repair the least? Which is the better deal and what do you guys vote I get?

some of my friends, he was shopping for a new set of wheels, he had choice narrowed down to Accord, Camry, Jetta and the 6S. After a few test drives, the Mazda 6S 5 door was by far the best bang for the buck. he’ve had hatchbacks before, but none with 58 cubic feet of storage with the back seats down. This car is practical, yet sporty. It blows the competition away. If you want a combination of sporty looks, practicality, and great value for the dollar, look no further, this is THE ONE even used!

Any uying advice for 2009 Nissan Maxima?
I am dreaming of the 2009 Nissan Maxima! I want one so bad! I always go prepared when I buy a car: I get pre-approved, I have the model and color preference and a backup in mind, I print the TMV, and I never divulge right away what I’m willing to put down or if I am trading in. I am able to put down $3K-$5K for the down payment and I’m trading in my 2006 Mazda6 i. It’s in good condition, I’m estimating the trade-in value at $9500 and I have $8K left on the car note.

I’m wondering how low I’m able to negotiate for this car, as I’ve never bought a “brand new” car before (I bought the Mazda in the latter half of 2006 for $16500 with MSRP $20K at that time). I’m planning to buy the car in January when most people are tapped out from the holidays and car sales are slow. And with the economy being what it’s like right now, what’s the possibility of getting this car for $24000?

Depends on the model of maxima, S? SE? SEL? SEL is about and 35000 dollar car. S would get you that 24000, but SE prolly aiming around 26500 or 27000
